Alas! Here are the results of the 82nd Academy Awards that took place tonight, March 7, 2010. I’m happy to see Cameron Diaz, Penelope Cruz, Miley Cyrus, Amanda Seyfried, Carey Mulligan as award presenters. The star of Avatar presented the Best Makeup category. He’s funny by what he looks, he has put a makeup that looks like the Avatar. The eyes and tail were the good ones.

The winners in the 82nd Annual Academy Awards are the following:

Actor in a Supporting Role
From the nominees Matt Damon, Christopher Plummer, Woody Harrelson, Stanley Tucci, and Christoph Waltz, Christoph Waltz was picked and awarded.

Animated Feature Film
From the nominees The Princess and the Frog, Coraline, Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Secret of Kells and Up, Up won the awards. Pete Docter was awarded for it.

Music (Original Song)
The Weary Kind from Crazy Heart Theme was picked.

Music (Original Score)

Up won the award.

Short Film (Animated)
From French Roast, Granny O’Grimm’s Sleeping Beauty, The Lady and the Reaper (La Dama y la Muerte), Logorama and A Matter of Loaf and Death, Logorama won the award.

Writing (Original Screenplay)
The Hurt Locker won this award. Mark Boal was awarded for it. The other nominees were Inglourious Basterds, The Messenger, A Serious Man, and Up.

Short Film (Live Action)
The New Tenants won the awards for Short Film.

Makeup
Star Trek is the winner.

Writing (Adapted Screenplay)
Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire was awarded for the Screenplay of Geoffrey Fletcher.

Documentary Short
Music by Prudence got the award.

Actress in a Supporting Role
Mo’Nique grabbed the award. The other nominees were Penelope Cruz, Vera Farmiga, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Anna Kendrick.

Art Direction
Avatar won the award. The other nominees were The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, Sherlock Homes, Nine, The Young Victoria.

Costume Design
The Young Victoria was awarded. Sandy Powell was really designed in the movie.

Cinematography
Avatar won the award. The other nominees were Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, The White Ribbon (Das Weisse Band), The Hurt Locker, Inglourious Basterds.

Sound Editing
The Hurt Locker won the award.

Sound Mixing
The Hurt Locker won the award.

Visual Effects
From the nominees District 9, Avatar, and Star Trek, Avatar won the award.

Documentary Feature
The Cove won the award.

Best Picture
The Hurt Locker was awarded.

Actor in a Leading Role
Jeff Bridges was awarded.

Actress in a Leading Role
Sandra Bullock was awarded.

Directing
The Hurt Locker won the award.

Film Editing
The Hurt Locker was awarded.

Foreign Language Film
The Secret in Their Eyes (El Secreto de Sus Ojos) of Argentina was awarded.
